Metropolitan Events and Productions and The Powder Group produced their sixth annual Makeup Show New York in on May 13 -14, 2011. Since the first Makeup Show New York in 2005, The Makeup Show has gone International. In 2011, the producers of The Makeup Show have taken the concept international, with shows in Los Angles March 17-18, 2011, Chicago, Il, on June 10-11, 2011 , New York Mat 12-13, and Berlin, Germany on September 17 -18,2011. The Makeup Show brings together all the aspects of the World of Makeup. The Makeup Show concept includes Seminars, Key Note Speakers Demonstrations, and Exhibits by Makeup Manufacturers from around the world.

The Mehron Makeup Traveling Exhibition Booth has been at The Makeup Show New York since its beginnings, and has now joined them in Los Angles, Chicago, and soon will be joining the Makeup Show Europe, September 17-18, 2011, in Berlin, Germany. The Mehron Makeup Exhibition Booth is always staffed by Mehron Representatives, and featured Makeup Artists giving live demonstrations throughout the day. At Events like The New York Makeup Show you can find the President of Mehron, Martin Melik, the Mehron Marketing Director, Stephanie Koutikas is often found at the traveling Mehron Makeup Booth along with some of the World's Most Recognized Makeup Artists, such as Jinny.

Makeup Show Chicago - June 12-13

The Makeup Show CHICAGO presented by Metropolitan Events and Productions will be held Sunday June 12 through Monday June 13, 2011 at Venue One, located at 1044 West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL. Mehron Makeup will be Exhibiting at Booth 1029 on the Exhibit Floor. As Always The Mehron Team will be there to present the entire line of Mehron Makeup at The Makeup Show CHICAGO. The Makeup Show CHICAGO will feature hands on workshops, seminars and forums on both the Art of Makeup and the Business of Makeup. The Makeup Show will be bringing some of the biggest talents in the Profession of Makeup to the Windy City.

On Sunday June 12th at 10AM -11:30 AM, Michael Devellis, Executive Director of The Powder Group, along with Crystal Wright will host a business forum entitled"Marketing You", which will discuss the various ways to market yourself and get jobs in the Makeup Profession.

At 2:00 PM till 3:00 PM on Sunday June 12, 2011 at The Makeup Show CHICAGO, Genevieve "Jinny" Houle, will be the Keynote Speaker at a forum entitled, "Combing Body Painting and Beauty". Jinny is the President of Jinny Makeup Artiste in Canada, the co-creator of Mehron Paradise Makeup AQ, the water activated cake makeup favored by face and body painting makeup artists from around the world, and an Internationally Recognized Award Winning Face and Body Painting Makeup Artist. The Keynote Forum by Jinny will discuss and demonstrate the use of Body Painting and Face Painting Makeup in Beauty Makeup Applications. For Makeup Artists in all disciplines this is a forum that should not be missed. Makeup Artists who have never combined Face and Body Painting with their Beauty Makeup Application will be treated to a live demonstration by the Makeup Artist who has been called The First Lady of Face Painting, and is a Consultant and Chief Makeup Artist for Cirque De Soleil.
