A Study in Body Art with Jinny

On September 9, 2011 in New York City, Mehron Makeup collaborated with Falguni and Shane Peacock to present their Spring 2012 Fashion Collection at The Studio of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Falguni and Shane Peacock brought their incredible new designs, and fashion models, Mehron supplied the Makeup that has starred on Stage, Screen and Fashion Runways since 1927. Along with all All-Star Team of Makeup Artists and Emmy Award Winning Makeup Artist Kevin James (KJ) Bennett as the Key Makeup Artist, the 2012 Spring Collection carried a Rock and Roll Theme with a Special Guest Appearance by Rock's newest rising star, Porcelain Black. While KJ Bennet and the Mehron Makeup Team of Brandalyn Fulton, Edward Cruz, Meagan Hester, and Raedawn Johnson were busy preparing the Models for The fashion Show, Special Guest Mehron Makeup Artist, Jinny, was brought in especially to complete the design of Falguni and Shane Peacock worn by Porcelain Black, using her Award Winning Body Painting technique.

The outfit worn by Porcelain Black was the sexiest military influenced fashion design to ever walk the runway. Jinny completed the look of the Fashion Design by painting on stockings and garter belts with the water based semi soft cake makeup, Paradise Makeup AQ which she co-created with Mehron Makeup. Using Paradise Makeup AQ in Black, Dark Brown, Olive, Dark Green and Lime, Jinny enhanced her leg painting of Porcelain Black with Mehron Precious Gems in Perodot, Gold GlitterMark and completed the look with Gold Paradise Glitter.

Capturing the Event for Mehron was Connecticut based Emmy Award winning Photographer Richard Esposito. With a series of photographs by Richard Espositio, we are able to offer a behind the scene study in Body Painting Art by Jinny. All Photographs in the Study in Body Art by Jinny are by Richard Esposito and may not be copied or redistributed without the consent of Mr. Esposito and Mehron Makeup.
To begin the process of creating "stockings" to complete the look of the Falguni and Shane Peacock Fashion to be worn on the Runway, Jinny uses medical adhesive tape to mark her lines.
Using a wide makeup brush, Jinny covers the lower legs of Porcelain Black with Black Paradise Makeup AQ.
Using the previously applied medical adhesive tape as a marker, Jinny is able to paint a perfectly straight line with her Black Paradise Makeup AQ.
Jinny completes the application of Black Paradise Makeup AQ while Porcelain Black maintains her patience throughout the process.

Jinny adds color over the Black Paradise Makeup AQ to create the upper look of the stocking, bringing in the color of the military inspired look of the Falguni and Shane Fashion Creation worn by Ms. Black.
A pillar of patience, Porcelain Black is worked on by her hairstylist while Jinny applies additional color with Paradise Makeup AQ
It's almost showtime as Jinny puts the finishing touches on the leg "stockings and garters" of Porcelain Black with Mehron Body Painting Makeup.
