Mehron Wows the LA Makeup Show

The debut of the LA Makeup Show occurred March 15-16, 2009 at California Market Center110 East 9th Street,Penthouse / 13th floor Los Angeles, CA 90079. Mehron was there to show LA their lines of Professional Theatrical Makeup, Body Painting Makeup, Face Painting Makeup, and Extreme Beauty Makeup. The LA Makeup Show was treated to Body Painting Demonstrations by Mario Ink, Chicago Makeup Artist and co-founder of the Airbrush Academy. Mario Ink is quickly achieving a reputation as an Airbrush Makeup Master, and the Airbrush Academy was the first to receive and use Mehron's newest introduction, LUX Airbrush Makeup. With its debut to the public at the March 6-9, 2009 Halloween Costume Convention in Las Vegas, LUX Airbrush made its Hollywood Debut at the LA Makeup Show only a week later.

The extensive colorful Mehron display attracted a steady flow of LA Makeup Artists and Makeup Students who were able to see, touch and feel the difference in Mehron Quality Makeup. The attendees had the benefit of having their questions answered by the Mehron Product Expert, Gene Flaharty and enjoyed the extensive display designed by Stephanie Ferreira, Mehron Marketing Director. Mehron began in 1927 as a Theatrical Makeup Company, and the LA Makeup Show attendees were amazed at the extensive collection of Makeup that Mehron produces to cater to all aspects of makeup needs.

The demonstrations of Mehron's uses in Body Painting, one of the hottest waves in the Makeup Industry, by Mario Ink were received with enthusiastic interest. Mario Ink also demonstrated the various Makeups that Mehron produces in their Extreme Beauty Collection and definitely opened the eyes of aspiring Makeup Artists in attendance with his abilities in all aspects of Makeup applications.

Just as in 1927 when Mehron was introducing the New York Performance Community with makeup made with high quality hand selected ingredients it was important for Mehron to be well represented at the debut LA Makeup Show which is sure to be a growing annual event judging by the response and attendance. Although based in New York, Mehron is know the world over by Professional Theatrical Makeup Artists and users, so making Hollywood aware that Mehron is more than Professional Performance Makeup was very rewarding for Stephanie and Gene even though March has been a whirlwind month of exciting events for Mehron. Mehron is in the mist of its own March Madness introducing LUX Airbrush Makeup to the Public along with new Character Makeup Kits and Aura Bronzing Gel, attending the Halloween Costume Convention in Las Vegas, the LA Makeup Show and still to come is the New York Film Expo on March 29, 2009 in New York City. This show will bring together the Makeup Industry and The Professional Makeup Artist to celebrate the craft of Professional Makeup. The Makeup Show LA will mimic the Makeup Shows of NYC and Miami that bring together the top brands of makeup manufacturers, educational seminars and inspirational artists.
