In October of 2008, Mehron announced their commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the Mehron Thinks Pink Campaign. Mehron committed to donating 10% of all purchases of pink makeup during the month of October to a Breast Cancer Treatment or Awareness Foundation. It was only natural that Mehron would join this crusade to further Research, Awareness and Treatment against an enemy that has afflicted so many around the world. Brave at Heart

On Saturday, October 4, 2008, in keeping with the Mehron commitment to support Breast Cancer Research and Awareness, Stephanie Ferreira, Marketing Director of Mehron participated in an event at a local beauty shop, Salon Odette’s in Middlebury, Connecticut for Brave at Heart. Brave at Heart is a support group of young women breast cancer survivors. Brave at Heart, a program based at Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center in Waterbury, CT is one of the organizations that Mehron will donate to from the proceeds of the "Mehron Thinks Pink" Campaign. Mehron Thinks Pink Campaign donates 10% of the sales from their "Think Pink" selections of Professional and Extreme Beauty Makeup to Breast Cancer Awareness and Research Groups.

The Event at the Connecticut Salon Odette’s was attended by approximately thirty women who received a day of beauty treatments as part of the group’s Second Survivor Slumber Sleepover Celebration. The Women spent the afternoon having their hair done, receiving massages and having makeup applied by Stephanie Ferreira, licensed Makeup Artist, and the Marketing Director of Mehron, using many of the products featured in the Mehron Thinks Pink Campaign. All the Professional Services were donated to the Survivors of Brave at Heart.

Pink Clown Face

The Auguste Clown is considered the silliest of clowns whose origins are said to be from the late 1800's in Germany.
