The Makeup Show Europe - Day 1

The Makeup Show, a Production of The Powder Group and Metropolitan Events and Productions, open the doors to debut of The Makeup Show Europe on September 17, 2011 in Berlin, Germany. In May of 2011 The Makeup Show New York celebrated its fifth year with a record attendance. This one of a kind show was established as a show for the Makeup Professionals. The Makeup Show concept includes, Seminars, Hands on Workshops, Presentations, Demonstrations and Keynote Speakers as well as an Exhibition Hall. Mehron has been at The Makeup Show New York, The Makeup Show LA, and The Makeup Show Chicago since their inception. Of course Mehron Makeup has to send the traveling Mehron Exhibition Booth, stocked with Mehron Makeup, staffed with Mehron Makeup Professionals and Featuring Makeup Artist, Dani Fonseca Ondrek from New York, the Home of Mehron, to demonstrate Mehron Makeup for the Professional Makeup Community of Europe.

Along with doing live Body Painting at the Mehron Exhibition Booth using Mehron Body Painting Makeup and Accessories, Dani was on the schedule for a Main Floor Seminar and discussed and presented her Body Painting Art, 1:30- 2:15 The Body of Art - Dani Fonseca Ondrek for Mehron.

The Makeup Show is going to Berlin. Mehron Makeup will be attending this debut event on the Exhibition Floor with a full compliment of Mehron Makeup spanning all the Mehron Makeup Product lines, including, Studio & Stage Makeup, Extreme Beauty Makeup, Face & Body Painting Makeup, and Professional Makeup Accessories, as well as the rest of the Mehron Makeup Lineup. As is the case when the Mehron Exhibition Booth goes on the road to attend Makeup Conventions, Competitions, Festivals and Industry Shows, The Mehron Makeup Exhibition Booth will be fully stocked and staffed for The Makeup Show Europe. The Mehron Exhibition Booth will be located in space # 206 on the Exhibition Floor. Wherever the Mehron Exhibition Booth is set up, whether, New York, Austria, Canada, Texas, Florida and now Berlin, Mehron always has a featured Makeup Artist on site for live demonstrations of Mehron Makeup. For this debut of the Makeup Show Europe, the featured Makeup Artist at the Mehron Booth will also be making her debut as the Mehron Makeup Featured Artist. The Mehron Special Guest Makeup Artist will be Danielle A. Fonseca, Founder of A Body of Art, a New York based special events project production company that offers a full range of services for corporate, promotional and personal events, as well as for the the theatrical stage.

Ms. Fonseca has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from the State University of New York at New Paltz, an area of New York State that has produced more than its fair share of Artists in all aspects of the Arts. For those unfamiliar with the New Paltz, NY Area it is located along the Hudson River and is a short distance to Woodstock, NY, a bit north of the Culinary Institute of New York, nor far from the legendary town of Sleepy Hallow and about an hour away from Mehron Headquarters located in Chestnut Ridge, NY. This area has nurtured sculptors, actors, and artists from every artistic field including Spencer Tunic with whom Danielle Fonseca has worked.

Forming A Body of Art in 2004, after extensive work as an artist for MAC Cosmetics, Danielle also has a resume that includes, Scenic Charge Artist for such major productions as Sweeney Todd, Godspell, and Peter Pan. This all encompassing Artist and Educator is the Chief Art Director, Designer and Project Manager for her company, A Body of Art. She has worked on projects for Cirque du Soliel, The Pussycat Dolls and Fashion Shows.

As an all encompassing Artist that includes Makeup Artist, Danielle A. Fonseca will be the featured guest Makeup Artist at the Mehron Booth in Berlin for the Makeup Show Europe, where she will do live demonstrations using Mehron Beauty Makeup and Face Painting Makeup bringing her unique brand of Makeup Artistry across the ocean to the Professional Makeup Community of Europe.

The Makeup Show Europe

In another Mehron first, Mehron Makeup will be attending The Makeup Show Europe which will be held at Station-Berlin Luckenwalder Strasse 4-6, 10963, Berlin, Germany on Saturday September 17 from 9 AM - 6PM and Sunday September 18, 9AM -5PM. The Makeup Show Europe presented by Metropolitan Events and Productions is the debut of the Makeup Show Europe. Mehron has been a Sponsor and Exhibitor at Previous Makeup Shows held in NYC, Chicago and LA and now for the first time at the first European Makeup Show, Mehron will be bringing the famous Mehron Exhibition Booth to the Makeup Professional of Europe at the Makeup Show Europe.

The Mehron Makeup Exhibition Booth will be occupying space # 206 on the Exhibitors Floor at the Debut of The Makeup Show Europe. To make the Debut Makeup Show Europe a special event for the the premiere of the Mehron Exhibition Booth for the European Makeup Professional who will attend, the featured Makeup Artist at the Mehron Booth will be Danielle A. Fonseca, who is Founder, Chief Art Director, Designer and Project Manager of A Body of Art. Ms. Fonseca will be demonstrating the Mehron Makeup Beauty Collection and Face Painting Collection for the attendees of The Makeup Show Europe.

Dani Fonseca will bring her varied artistic experience that includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Science in Art Education as well as extensive experience in Beauty Makeup, and Face and Body Painting Makeup. Outside of her work with A Body of Art, Ms. Fonseca has taught children aged 6-16 painting and makeup for the past thirteen summers and is the Art Director of Harvey's fine and performing arts camp in Katonah, NY.
