The New York Makeup Show 2009

As a participating sponsor and exhibitor at the 2009 New York Makeup Show, Mehron was proud to be represented by a couple of esteemed friends. Ms. Jinny Houle, Jinny Makeup Artiste, and Mario Ceja, Mario Ink, demonstrated Mehron Makeup Products to the attendees of the 2009 New York Makeup Show. Masquerade Prom Makeup Ideas

Theme Proms in the USA are more prominent in 2009 than past Prom Seasons. High Schools across the United States are celebrating their graduations with a thematic celebratory last dance. May 12, 2009 Recall of Chinese Face Paint

The May 12, 2009 recall of face paint manufactured in China is far from the first recall of cosmetics manufactured in China. The FDA has issued numerous warnings and failure to comply letters to various manufacturers in China concerning the presence of bacteria and lead in their manufactured makeup products. With the lax enforcement by the Chinese Government and the inability of the FDA to test every product being imported from China, it becomes incumbent on the American Consumers to use good judgement when purchasing products that were made in China.
