The Winners at Color Mundo 2009

On May 3-4, 2009 Color Mundo was held at Marché Bonsecours 350 rue St-Paul Est Vieux-Montréal, Québec. Color Mundo is a show case for Body Painting Artists and is the stage for The Body Painting Canadian Championship Competitions. The 2009 Color Mundo was a spectacular display of color displayed in the the works of art created by the competing makeup artists. Aside from the competitions Color Mundo includes Speakers, Workshops, and Exhibitions.

AIRBRUSH "From Realistic Clothing to Futuristic Armor"

On Saturday at Color Mundo 2009, May 2nd from - 1:00 to 4:00 pm, Alex Hansen, who won 1st place at the Canadian Body-Painting Championship Color Mundo 2007, and 1st place at World Body-Painting and Asian Body-Painting Championship 2008, will present a workshop entitled, AIRBRUSH "From Realistic Clothing to Futuristic Armor". Mr. Hansen will be sharing his knowledge of color shading and highlighting while stressing the use of stencils to create complex body painting designs.

Alex Hansen recently demonstrated the uses of Lux Airbrush Makeup by Mehron at the Bodyssey held Toronto, Canada on April 3-5, 2009. Alex created astounding creations at Bodyssey using the new Mehron Airbrush Makeup and at the Color Mundo Workshop that he will be presenting at Color Mundo, he will be sharing these abilities with attendees. Mr. Hansen is a Master Body Painter using Airbrush Makeup to achieve his designs and has travelled the world using his skills to dazzle the audiences at events throughout the Body Painting World.

Airbrush Body Painting is quickly taking center stage in the art of Body Painting. Airbrush Artists with the skills of Mr. Hansen are able to change the hue and texture of the application with their innate talents. In his Workshop at Color Mundo, Alex Hansen will be able to share with you the techniques and technical expertise needed to apply Air Brush Makeup. Air Brush Makeup is the makeup of the future that will not only dominate the world of Body Painting and Face Painting, but will also become the dominate makeup used in Theatrical Makeup Applications, including, Sci-Fi and Horror.
