The Celebration of Independence

As July 4th approaches in the United States of America preparations begin for the commemoration of America's Independence. Independence Day in the United States is commemorated throughout the Country with parades, festivals, ceremonies, concerts, family gatherings, barbecues and fireworks. The colors of America's Independence day are steeped in Red, White and Blue. It is a National Holiday that highlights the colors and flag that have come to symbolize the Independence of America. Red, White and Blue are the highlighted colors of every event during the commemoration of the Declaration of Independence.

Even as the 4th of July is a uniquely American Holiday, it is also a symbolic holiday for the entire world. On July 4th, 1776, a group of free thinking men proclaimed a new and independent government that would respect and protect the rights of all men. On this date a government was established for the birth of a new Nation and at the same time a new standard of Freedom and Liberty was sparked throughout the entire world. People of every Nation look to the precedent set by the fore fathers of the United States and strive to emulate the freedoms and protections granted by the founding documents of the United Sates of America.

The commemoration and celebration of the Declaration of Independence in the United States has become a kaleidoscope of all of the pursuits and endeavors that the freedoms bestowed upon Americans has produced, from Car Shows, Baseball Games, Parades, Concerts, Barbecuing, Fishing, Swimming, Boating, Face Painting, and more, the 4th of July is a day when the ordinary interests of the American Citizen becomes a commemoration of freedom.

The Clowns will march in parades alongside of Military Veterans who were called upon to defend the concept of Freedom and Liberty as established by the Declaration of Independence. Uniquely American Costumes will walk in the same line of march as neatly pressed and polished Military uniforms. Commemorations on the 4th of July reflect the endeavors that Americans have pursued with their Freedom and Liberty.

The United States Declaration of Independence assured the citizens of the Nation that they would have the Freedom to pursue any dream. In 1927, Mehron Melik reached for his American Dream and began producing quality makeup made by hand with selected ingredients in New York City, NY. The freedom and liberty bestowed upon men like Mehron Melik enabled them to have a dream and work towards its fulfillment. Over 80 years later, the dream of Mehron Melik of producing the highest quality performance makeup is still being pursued by his Son, Martin Melik, the current President of Mehron. The foundations of Mehron Makeup were established by the dreams of Mehron Melik, dreams that were made possible by the freedoms bestowed upon American Citizens. To this day, all Mehron Products are still uniquely an American Dream, developed, formulated and manufactured in the United States of America. Just as the ideal of freedom and liberty were exported throughout the world, the dreams of entrepreneurs like Mehron found their way to the markets of the world. Mehron Makeup still makes their products the old fashioned way, in the United States with safe, reliable, consistent ingredients and is distributed throughout the world in over 200 countries by Authorized Mehron Dealers.

The ideals and dreams of the American Forefathers are commemorated on the 4th of July in the United States, however, the dreams and aspirations of the dreamers that built American Industries are proliferated every day by the products that are produced in America and sent around the world to be used and enjoyed by people of every Nation. The greatness of America is not only in the idealism of its governance but also in the visions of their free thinkers who produced durable products for the world.

On The Eve of Change

Change and the Future of Mehron Makeup In less than two days The United States of America will once again begin a change with the Inauguration of Barack Obama as President of a Nation in turmoil. The structure of the United States Government will not change, nor will the foundational documents which formed the Government over 240 Years Ago. What will change with the incoming Administration will be the philosophy of the application of the mandates and expectations of governance. The ability of The United States to progress and meet the challenges of the future relies on the responsibility of each succeeding Administration to continue the mandates and the expectations of the Founding Documents of the Nation.

The beginning of a new Administration reminds Americans that change is expected and as an integral factor in meeting the challenges of the future is welcomed. Change for the sake of change is not the point, the point is that change produces new outlooks to meeting the challenges of the progress towards the future.

In all aspects of the American Experience the same is true, change is necessary to progress and meet the challenges of the future. American Families experience this change with the different phases of family growth as they move towards the future. American Business also responds to the prospects of the future by changing to meet them. America is unique among Nations by the fact that it is one of the youngest Nations, yet it has been able to exist for over 240 years by building for the future while being guided by the blueprint that was set down by the founders over 240 years ago.

Many American Businesses have witnessed a Century or more of American History as they have changed with the Nation to continue producing their products or providing their services for decades of Americans. Many of these Companies have been led by Families that have passed the helm from one generation to the next. Mehron Makeup, as a Company has witnessed over 1/3 of American History as they have continued to be a family owned company still producing makeup based on the blueprints of their founder in the USA for over eighty years. Just as America has witnessed dramatic change throughout the last eighty years so has Mehron. Mehron has progressed and moved to the future as the challenges were presented. Mehron grew through two generations of the Melik Family and continues to grow to meet the future needs of the customers they serve.

Mehron has changed from the time of Vaudeville and Silent Films, through the introduction of Technicolor Film and Plasma TV monitors. In 2009 Mehron will continue to meet the challenges of the future by researching, developing and introducing the next generation of high quality makeup based on the quality standards of their founder, Mehron Melik, to meet the future makeup needs of the entertainment industry created by growth of HDTV, and other High Definition mediums that will require Makeup Products unlike any other Makeup Products used before by the Performance Industry. Just as America will be guided by the documents of the Founding Fathers as they meet the challenges of the future, Mehron will also tackle the challenges of the future by producing a Makeup of the Future as they are guided by the principals of their Founder.
