The Mehron Ladies would pack their bags at the loft where Mehron Melik handmade his makeup each day and fan out to visit the dressing rooms of the theaters, delivering the vibrant stage makeup to the Performers, and instructing them on how to apply it.

Wizard of Oz was released in 1939. By the advent of color Television, Mehron was in its fourth decade of producing
Studio and Stage Makeup. From the late 1950's into the 1960's the Night Clubs of Miami Beach, Florida were in full swing, and Mehron was there.
