White Face on the Runway

In the days when the Automobile Manufacturers were struggling to survive not because of an Economic Depression but because they were an infant industry in 1927, Mehron Melik was developing, producing and selling the foremost White Face Makeup to the Entertainers in New York. Clowns weren't the only ones wearing White Face at that time, it was being worn by a variety of entertainers in a diverse cross section of stage shows from Vaudeville to Shakespearean Plays. Mehron discovered how to formulate ingredients to produce the whitest white face on the stages of New York and continually improved on it to make it the longest lasting white face available to Performers beginning in 1927.

Mehron, now under the leadership of a second generation of the Melik Family continues to improve upon the original formulations of the founder while keeping with his wishes for a quality product at an affordable price.
