2011 Makeup Emmy Nominees - Part 1

Unlike the Tony Awards, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences recognizes the Artists who are responsible for the Makeup that is an integral part of Television Production. It is the Makeup Artists who turn the actors into believable, realistic, fantastic, gory, horrific,sweet, innocent characters enabling them to become the parts that they play. In Fact The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences sees the Makeup Artist as such a vital part of Television that they break down the Emmy Awards for Makeup into Multiple Categories, so that as many Makeup Artists as possible are recognized for their specialties.
