September 11, 2011 will be Day 2 of the two day Mehron Beauty Makeup Workshop with Makeup Artist Meagan Hester, an independent Makeup Artist proficient in SP/FX Makeup as well as Beauty Makeup. Applying your own Makeup to the same skin tone is one thing, but as a Professional Makeup Artist you will be asked to apply Makeup to Skin Tones of all ages and hues. Day 2 of the Beauty Workshop at the new Mehron Makeup Studio, located at Mehron Headquarters, 100 Red Schoolhouse Road, Chestnut Ridge, NY 10977 , will delve into dealing with skin tones of all ages, shades, and tones.
Ms. Hester will instruct you on how to apply foundation properly to eliminate creases, wrinkles and flaws providing a smooth even canvas on which to work. Dry skin, spots, and blemishes will be discussed and the solutions presented. Meagan Hester will show you the process of selecting the proper shades for skin tones from around the world. As a Professional Makeup Artist your clientele will be as varied as the peoples of the world, and in the world of makeup, one color does not fit all. Mehron Makeup prides itself on the ability to produce the truest colors in the World of Makeup, and Ms. Hester who has been working with Mehron Makeup since her student days will discuss and demonstrate how skin tones dictate the shades and colors of makeup you use, and how best to enhance and enlighten the skin tone with the shades you select.
