Currently at the 2010 World Bodypainting Festival (WBF) being held in Seeboden, Austria from July 12-18, the world's finest congregation of Makeup Artists are gathered for a choreography of music, dance and show. The WBF culminates in the World Awards in Five Makeup Categories featuring Body Painting, Face Painting, Special Effects Makeup, HD Makeup, Airbrush Makeup and more. It is also a showcase for music, artists and photographers, each with programs and events that feature their artistic pursuits.

Jinny was a member of the WBF Academy, an elite guest faculty that instructs the workshops and seminars present at the World Bodypainting Festival through the WBF Academy. IN 2010, Jinny is also a member of the Jury, a group of selected judges who will score the art created in the competitions to become the World Champions. Jinny was also invited to be one of the selected Artists to participate in the presentation by the WBF Fashion Department in a show entitled, "Create Your Own Reality".

2010 World Bodypainting Festival Opens

The Body painting Event of the year has opened. The 2010 World Bodypainting Festival (WBF) opened on July 12, 2010 preceded by a Captain Morgan Welcome by the WBF Institute of Sound. The first day of the 2010 WBF features programs by the WBF Academy where the World's Leading Body Painters become the Faculty to instruct and lecture on the intricacies of Body Painting, sharing tips, techniques and critiques, strengthening the form of the 'student' attending the WBF Academy.

On Tuesday Mark Reid, Master Body Painter, is instructing at the WBF in a Special Workshop Sponsored by Mehron, Jeans and Tops. Mr. Reid will be sharing the techniques used to achieve a realistic look when Body Painting Jeans and Clothing on models. Using the Water Activated Cake Makeup, Paradise Makeup AQ, and his new Mark Reid™ Signature Brush Set just released by Mehron, Mr. Reid will be sharing with those in attendance the importance of detailing for the look of reality. As an accomplished Body Painting Artist, Mark Reid is a specialist in Body Painting Jeans, Corsets and Tops with water activated cake makeup using both brushes and sponges in his Makeup Application. Mark hails from the USA traveling the world in pursuit of his art, teaching and exhibiting his talents.

Also on Tuesday another Mehron Friend, Sponsored Artist, and Creator, Jinny, President of Jinny Makeup Artiste will be presenting Part 1 of a Workshop presented by Mehron at WBF Academy, Body Painting Brush/Sponge aimed at the intermediate Body Painting Artist. Create Your Own Reality - Body Art Fashion Show

The World Bodypainting Festival is about to open its 12th year of festivities. Billed as a choreography of music, dance and show, The World Body Painting Festival (WBF) encompasses art in all its forms, providing a showcase and community for artists from around the world. Featuring Artists who are on the frontier of art in photography, music, makeup, dance, and more, the WBF has grown into a Worldwide Festival that merges artistic expression into a collage of expression. This year the Body Art Fashion Show will present a new challenge to the creativity of selected artists. The Theme of the Body Art Fashion Show is, "Create Your Own Reality".
