Pirate Makeup for Halloween

The Pirate has been a long emulated character, with a stereotypical view as presented by the Film Industry. In reality, have been around since the beginning of maritime travel. The classic view of The Pirate is a swashbuckler in a tri-corner hat, eighteenth century clothing style and a cunning attitude. The recent resurgence of The Pirate popularity is owed to the The Pirates of The Caribbean Movies starring Johhny Depp. The classic view of the Pirate is upheld in these modern Pirate adaptations, gleaning their character images from the vision of the Disney Studios as portrayed in their Theme Park Ride of the same name.

The Pirate Adventure Movie beckons back to the days of Silent Films. The 1916 drama starring Lillian Gish, Daphne and the Pirate, was one of the first films to portray The Pirate in the eighteenth century style.
