Halloween at Mehron Mexico

In New York City 1927, The Holland Tunnel opened allowing automobile traffic to drive under the bedrock of the Hudson River, linking New York and New Jersey via roadbed. Charles Lindbergh flew across the Atlantic from New York to Paris. A man named Babe Ruth moved from Boston to New York to work on Murders Row for the New York Yankees. In Mexico 1927 there was a counter-revolution against the government in a revolt that became knows as The Cristero War. In Mexico City, the first experimental theater, Teatro Ulses, literally the Odysseus Theater, a fifty seat theater which had a short life, laid the foundation for the future of Mexican Theater. Mehron Makeup and 24 Prince Restaurant in New York City, collaborated on a Michael Jackson themed Halloween in 2009. Mehron Makeup was there to supply the Makeup for guests who wanted to become Michael Jackson or people relevant to Michael Jackson's life for a Michael Jackson Themed Halloween Party, complete with contests and prizes. Attendees were costumed as Michael Jackson from various stages of his life, Elizabeth Taylor, Lisa Marie Presley, and others who shared the Michael Jackson Spotlight. IMATS, Jinny had just completed a Black and White Face and Body Painting on Model Sindy Perez with Paradise Makeup AQ by Mehron when Michael Jackson ( a Micheal Jackson impersonator) showed up at the Mehron Exhibition Booth to pose with Sindy Perez in her freshly painted black and white Body Painting by Jinny.



The Micheal Jackson look a like dressed in black and white, was the perfect match for the Black and White Body Painting just completed by Jinny with Paradise Makeup AQ for the guests of the IMATS LA Exhibition Hall. Running into Michael Jackson is expected during Halloween, but Jinny, Sindy and the Mehron Team who staff the traveling Mehron Exhibition Booth were all surprised to have a visit from Michael Jackson in June at the IMATS LA for Makeup Professionals. Although if Michael were still alive, it might really not be so surprising to see him at a Makeup Professionals Event like IMATS given his use of makeup throughout his career.

The remaining 2011 IMATS Shows will be in Sydney, Australia, September 24-25, and Toronto, Canada, November 12-13. The subject of the report was the Halloween Event that will take place at 24 Prince Restaurant, a Bistro in the Soho neighborhood of New York City. Chef Nikki Cascone of 24 Prince Restaurant discussed the Michael Jackson Theme Halloween Festivities that will take place at 24 Prince Restaurant beginning on Oct 29, 2009 at 5:00 with a Michael Jackson Tribute Menu, featuring some of the King of Pop's favorite foods.
